Rivertownes PA USA is an all volunteer organization that works to improve the river towns of Columbia, Marietta, and Wrightsville. In recent years, we have become the caretakers of the anthracite iron furnace heritage in Lancaster County.
On the last Saturday of June, Riverfest honors the anniversary of the Columbia-Wrightsville Bridge burning that prevented Confederates from entering Lancaster County. Enjoy re-enactors and music. At dusk, fire on the historic bridge piers closes the event.
